We place children in teams by age and team type (Sprint or Distance). The program is suitable for those serious about track and field and wanting to compete in meets as well as those with a more casual interest who want exercise and to develop their running skills.
In addition to running, we provide instruction in hurdles technique and various field events (including long jump, high jump, turbo jav, and shot put).
Coaches will be available at selected cross country meets during the season, though we will always hold Sunday practices for those who may not want to run in meets.
